Oxford Handbooks Online
The Oxford Handbooks Online series contains in-depth, high-level articles by scholars at the top of their field. Each Handbook offers thorough introductions to topics and a critical survey of the current state of scholarship, creating an original conception of the field and setting the agenda for new research. Handbook articles review the key issues and cutting-edge debates, as well as providing arguments for how those debates might evolve.

Springer Materials
Springer Materials is the world’s largest database for the identification of physical and chemical properties in Materials Science. It covers data from Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Physical and Inorganic Chemistry, Engineering and other related fields. It supports research in the fields of bulk and fine chemical manufacturing, petroleum and petrochemicals, semiconductors and electronic materials, optical metals, ceramics, polymer synthesis and processing, and materials for fuels and energy application.
The latest addition to this platform, SpringerMaterials Interactive, is a set of advanced functionalities for visualizing and analyzing data. BrowZine
BrowZine is an app that allows for the page-by-page browsing of selected Open Access and UofA Libraries subscription-based scholarly journals. You can create your own bookshelf of favourite journals, and save individual articles for later reading.
BrowZine can be used on desktop or laptop computers, and on smartphones and tablets. The BrowZine Library lists the journals available for viewing. Click on the tablet icon in Browzine to download the app and set up your own account.

is a collection of quality Canadian documentary,
animation and fiction films in English and
French. Content is
organized around three key themes: environment and sustainability, Indigenous
voices and reconciliation, and diversity and inclusion. It includes titles that
are not free from the National Film Board.
CAMPUS includes a wide
selection of study guides, a chaptering tool, and learning bundles for
educational use.

analysis and research service. It’s a key resource for students and researchers

This database covers 14 fashion-related product
categories, and contains over 22 million images with a range of filters for
searching.
